Stacy Stott Memorial Fund
Stacy was a vibrant 18 year old woman whose life revolved around cheerleading and dance. She was an exemplar of leadership, dedication, and commitment. The pursuit of higher education was a worthwhile and meaningful goal to her. She would have encouraged young adults to follow their hearts and aspire to be the best that they could be. All applicants are required to have a minimum of two years, at Lowell High School, in cheerleading, dance, or gymnastics, which must include their senior year. There are two separate scholarship applications. One is for Lowell High only and one is open to all involved in cheerleading. Award amounts range from $500 - $1,500.

 *Attention Abraham Lincoln Elementary School Alumni*
The Abraham Lincoln School Faculty Scholarship, valued at $250, is being offered to two seniors who have attended the Lincoln Elementary School for at least two years. To apply, mail a completed LHS Honors Night Scholarship Application to the following address by March 2:

 *Scott Finneral Memorial Scholarship*
This scholarship is open to any senior who has been in the Special Education program for a minimum of two years. It requires a high school transcript, 3 reference letters, and an essay. All application materials are due by March 31, 2012. Download the application by clicking all the links labeled "Finneral Scholarship" .

*The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce Scholarship*
This is awarded to seniors who demonstrate strong commitment to the community, academic excellence, and athletics. To apply, send the LHS Honors Night Scholarship Application, a resume, and/or letter, along with recommendations or any other supporting material to the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce address listed. The deadline is April 27. Click here for more info:
 
* Attention Past or Current Girls Inc. Members*
Girls Incorporated of Greater Lowell is awarding four scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 to high school senior girls who plan to attend a four-year or two-year college in the fall of 2012. The requirements for submission are: a high school transcript, two letters of recommendation (one must be from a teacher), and a completed application. All materials must be submitted by April 13, 2012. For more information, click on the "Girls Inc." links on the right side menu under " Scholarship Opportunities".

  * MCUL's College Scholarship Program*
The Mass. Credit Union League Inc.'s College Scholarship Program will award six $1,500 scholarships. The applicant must be a college-bound high school senior who is either a member of Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union or has a parent/guardian who is. Each applicant must submit an essay, academic transcript, and demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, part-time work experience, and/or volunteer work. The deadline for submitting materials for this scholarship is March 9, 2012, either by mail or by dropping them off at any branch location.  
 
* Money Strong College Scholarship *
This scholarship program will award $15,000 in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will be attending an accredited two or four year college. The applicant must be a member of Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union and must have joined prior to December 31, 2011. The requirements for the application are an official high school transcript, completed and signed application form, and a typed double spaced one page essay. The deadline for submission is March 30, 2012, either by drop off at any branch location or by mail.

* Raymond E. Riddick Memorial Scholarship*
To apply, you need to submit a completed application, transcript, resume, one page essay of your choice, verification of acceptance into a 2-year or 4-year college, and have a minimum of 3 years experience in high school athletics. The deadline is March 2, 2012.

* Camil D. Bergeron LHS Crew Team Memorial Scholarship *
This is a $250 scholarship that is available to any graduating senior who has participated in the LHS rowing program for a minimum of 4 seasons. To apply, the applicant needs to submit a completed application form, essay, transcript, resume, and a list of rowing activities in which he/she has participated.

*Adam Michael Keenan Memorial Athletic Scholarship *
Awarded to a deserving senior Student - Athlete pursuing higher education study at a two or four year college. The student must have participated in either a Varsity or Junior Varsity Sport while at Lowell High School, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and passion for his or her sport. The scholarship recipient will be selected based on academics, athletic ability and demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship. The scholarship is in memory of Adam Keenan who was a passionate, hard-working Student-Athlete, 2009 LHS graduate. Adam excelled in the sport of baseball while at LHS and went on to play in college. Adam died unexpectedly on June 6, 2011 of a rare heart condition, ARVC that was undetected.
Interested applicants should complete the LHS Honors Night Application. Please include a short paragraph descibing the sport you are passionate about and why, and also, how you have overcome setbacks during during your athletic career.

* Friends of Lowell High School Scholarship *
Sixteen $750 scholarships will be awarded to eligible seniors. To be eligible, you must have applied and or been accepted to a 2 or 4-year college, and have a parent or guardian who is an active paid member of the Friends of Lowell High for the current school year. Required documents include the application and the academic transcript. The deadline is March 9, 2012.

* LHS Latin Lyceum Arete (Excellence) Awards *
The scholar must achieve in two of the categories descibed below, one of which must be the Scolaris category. A scholar can earn a maximum of one award. All scholars who meet the minimum requirements for each criterion are award recipients. Each category is, at a minimum, covering two areas of importance because the program is intended to produce well-rounded scholars. The categories are aligned with the possible activities for Academics, Citizenship, and Athletics. The awards are: Scholaris-Humanitas-Athletis, and Scholaris-Humanitas. Only students enrolled in the Latin Lyceum Program for four years will be eligible.
